Information Required for TV/Video Production
This year, for the first time, The Bandmasters Championship will be featured in a 90-minute broadcast on public television. Our production company, Great American Video, will also offer video packages for sale featuring all bands in a TV-quality, four-camera format.
To ensure that your band will be featured in our video productions, we need to obtain three pieces of information for you. The links below contain the forms you need in .pdf file format. If you can't open these files, go to the Adobe website to download the free Acrobat Reader.
1. Music Information Form
This form is necessary so that Great American Video can obtain the appropriate copyright clearance to legally record your band's music. Please note that ALL music must be listed, including stock, printed/published pieces. For all custom-arranged pieces, you will need to include a signed Permission to Arrange document (see below). This form MUST be returned for your band to appear in the video production!
2. Permission to Arrange
If you are using custom-arranged music in your show, you should already have these completed. You need only to send us copies. If you have not received Permission to Arrange from the appropriate Publisher(s), you may use the generic form provided here. These documents (if applicable) MUST be returned for your band to appear in the video production!
3. Cue Sheet
Complete and return this form to ensure that we capture the best camera shots of your band. If we don't have your cues, we can't guarantee that we will have the best shots!
Returning Completed Forms to The Bandmasters Championship
The Music Information Form and Permission to Arrange document(s) should be returned to us by the contest registration deadline - Saturday, October 7th. If you will have difficulty meeting that deadline, please let us know as soon as possible.
You have two options for returning these documents:
